Identifying your problem

On our initial visit we will carry out a thorough inspection of your property including the area of concern and other areas where moths and carpet beetles could cause problems. Moths and Carpet Beetles much prefer the dark, undisturbed areas where they can lay eggs on your much loved cashmere and woollens creating irreparable damage.

Identifying your pest

After identifying the pest, we will work out the best approach to eradicate your moths or carpet beetles by applying low volume HSE approved treatments throughout the property, using an electrostatic applicator which will generate micron size droplets of treatment for efficient coverage with short drying time frames.

Implementing the solution

Firstly, we will spray affected areas and under low height furniture and other areas where the moths like to inhabit. Secondly, the insect monitors will be installed, where necessary, throughout your home. Lastly, we will use an ultra-low volume (ULV) misting application to eradicate the adult moths and prevent further reproduction.

Keeping your home pest free

We can then set up a quarterly service program to keep moths & carpet beetles at bay throughout the year, using treatment in your wardrobes, under furniture and beds where moths colonise to lay eggs. Also, refreshing the pheromone lures every quarter will help prevent moths establishing a concealed environment for egg laying, providing a moth and carpet beetle free property.

Gary did a great job sorting out our moth problem. After a thorough inspection the problem rugs were found and treated. Paid a significant amount for moth treatment, but unfortunately the issue was never fully resolved. After two visits, I continued to report moth activity, which persisted and has returned just as badly as before. The explanations provided for the ongoing problem did not make sense, and the source of the infestation was never identified. I was also disappointed to be asked to pay again despite the original issue not being properly addressed. Overall, I did not feel the service delivered the expected results for the cost.

Gary was so kind and helpful, he always turns up on time and sometimes even earlier to provide a fully comprehensive service.
He managed to locate the invisible at first glance carpet beetles which apparently crawl up the hanging clothes and eat them aggressively.

Gary was able to quickly handle the early stages of a moth infestation efficiently and within the week I initially contacted him to enquire about his services.

I appreciated being able to deal with Gary directly rather than a salesperson for as he is clearly experienced in pest control and offers a straightforward plan of eradication where he will locate problem areas that pests may flourish in, treats the area with pesticides and leaves traps and deterrents to ensure future infestations are prevented.

He was very prompt about booking his follow inspection a month after initial treatment and we have not noticed a recurrence of the moths since his visit.
